The project

Trialy was in charge of recruiting research participants to a study about lung function at Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset. In total, Trialy got 180 matching applications over three different recruitment periods.

The inclusion criteria for the study was that the participants should be smokers who had smoked for many years and had used many cigarettes each day. They also had to have problems with phlegm when they coughed. 

Because of the rather strict inclusion criteria of this study, many applicants did not match the criteria and could not be included in the trial. But, since Trialy has a pricing model that makes sure its customers only pay for the applicants who actually do match the criteria, this was not something the customer had to be concerned about.
