Our client, a product design firm, is conducting a Design Validation study on behalf of a company that is developing a home-use medical device for strengthening the quadriceps and improving knee stability following certain knee injuries or surgeries.
The end client is working on improving the user interface of a device that’s already FDA-approved and has been used by patients. The device that includes an adjustable thigh garment, conductive gel pads, and a hand-held controller.
This study will focus on the hand-held controller. The models evaluated by study participants will be non-functional, and no electrical stimulation will be delivered.
Criteria:
- 25 years or older
- Must had total knee replacement surgery or ligament surgery in the past 2-12 months.
- Able to participate in the test in Philadelphia between 31st of July and 4th of august

The 60-minute in-person user testing session will take place between Monday 31st July – Friday 4th August.
